FireProtect 2 (Heat/Smoke) Jeweller is a wireless fire detector with a built in siren intended for indoor installation. It detects smoke and temperature rise and also works without a hub. The detector operates as part of the Ajax system, communicating with the hub via the Jeweller secure radio protocol. The hubs communication range is up to 1,700 meters without obstacles.FireProtect 2 comes with a replaceable battery which runs for up to 7 years before replacing.
